Typo3 or Drupal

Hi guys
which of these 2 would you choose for a professional design and why? I have seen many people and big companies using them both alike, but private companies tend to go with Typo3 mostly.
Which one is more light on resourses, easier to work with, and secure?
Has anyone used both of them? What is your experience, does any of these two provides better features?
