MySQL Issues

by Feeder on Feb.28, 2010, under Web Hosting Talk

I am attempting to move a website of mine from my old reseller account with one provider, to my new VPS with another. My VPS is managed but obviously a lot of the configuration has still been left to me – as a complete newbie i’ve encountered some issues! :)

The latest is this! I’ve created a MySQL database on one of the new accounts on my VPS, created the user and assigned full priviledges. When I first access the database via PhpMyAdmin it states at the bottom:

The additional features for working with linked tables have been deactivated.

And when I follow a more information link, i’m taken to the screen which you can see in the attached image.

Can someone suggest what I need to do to resolve this? :) Thank you in advance guys.
